The Chicago Blackhawks wrapped up their season-opener against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday accidentally putting a disc into his own net. Not good!
Of course, the 'Hawks were already down by two goals with a few seconds left in the game, meaning they were most likely going to lose anyway. However, whatever pride they had left was dashed when the brain-farted a dribble back into the net.
Perhaps making matters worse was the fact that the game involved three of their best players. Brent Seabrook tried to delete a pass back to Patrick Kane, who could not pull up the pace before the failed attempt to Duncan Keith to get a stick on it.

Evan Mosey admits his week with the Chicago Blackhawks was an eye-opening experience as he got a brief taste of the world of the NHL.
The former Nottingham Panthers was invited to training camp multiple time winners of the Stanley Cup 'who have signed for Rockford IceHogs AHL affiliate at the end of last season.
Although it was not added to the staff of the Blackhawks Winter Classic Jersey - he was never likely to be - he says hobnobbing with the likes of Patrick Kane was a very valuable experience.
"It was a great experience to mix with that caliber of player. I liked a lot," he said.
"I did not expect to make the team, I just wanted to go out and get them to notice me. It was just a great week.

Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson will have a telephone hearing with the Ministry of Security of NHL player on Monday about a check to the head Hjalmarsson delivered to Blues Ty Rattie on Saturday.
Hjalmarsson received a match penalty for success in the 4-0 victory for the Hawks. Following receipt of the match penalty, Hjalmarsson was ejected and automatically suspended one game pending the examination of the NHL of the case.
Hjalmarsson was probably not part of the team plans to play Sunday against the Red Wings anyway. Success on Rattie led to a melee on the ice between the Blues and Hawks players in the third period Saturday.
means a telephone hearing Hjalmarsson could face a possible suspension of up to five games and fined more than $ 5,000. Hjalmarsson was suspended two games in 2010 for a blow from behind that he delivered on Jason Pominville, who then played with the Sabres.

In the past few years, the Blackhawks defender Ville Pokka had Teuvo Teräväinen with him in training camp. Those were the only two Finnish players on their roster last fall, so they had to band together if any of the many Swedish players hawks "gave them grief.
"There's so many Swedes," said Teräväinen.
Hawks dealt Teräväinen the Hurricanes in June to dump salary to get Bryan Bickell contract on their books, meaning Pokka will have to live with what comes his way teasing himself.
Teräväinen and Pokka were reunited this week at the World Cup of Hockey, but Finland was eliminated on Thursday night in the preliminary round, they went their separate ways.

World Cup i ishockey: Resultat, schema, Stand

It's that time of year again when fantasy hockey leagues are forming and player rankings are becoming more and more prominent. With the preseason and regular season is fast approaching, it's time to start analyzing the players to see who is worthy of writing, and should be avoided. One of the best ways to analyze the players is to take them in the context of their own NHL team. With this article, a closer look at the Chicago Blackhawks Jersey will help you determine which players are worth a look in fantasy leagues, and players are not.
The Blackhawks have been a dynasty today from the 2010 season despite some of its major transactions derived from salary cap problems. Whether Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd, or Brandon Saad, or even Teuvo Teräväinen, the Blackhawks have negotiated away players with high ceilings and replaced them with good complementary parts to keep your cup contender status. Players like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, and others are well known names. While some might be good choices in fantasy leagues, there are some players definitely worth avoiding, or are cautious in terms of draft position.
Art Ross, Ted Lindsay, and Hart Memorial Trophy winner 2015-16 is a must-own in all fantasy leagues. Few players have the offensive instincts that Patrick Kane, and last year was noticeable when the league in points was a whopping 106 points; the next highest total points were 89 and 85 'captain Jamie Benn and Pittsburgh Penguins' Sidney Crosby Dallas Stars, respectively.

Make way for the captain Clarity. A more transparent and open version of Jonathan Toews.
For if the captain of the Chicago Blackhawks Jersey and Team Canada pillar had its say on ad nauseam hockey issues during the last decade, it has recently started innovating. Not only did Toews join Twitter and Instagram, but he also recorded a couple of podcasts with business / philosopher / athlete Aubrey Marcus during the summer which provided a surprisingly open window into the mind of a man once nicknamed "Captain Serious."
For 90 minutes of conversation (which can be found on the episode 77 of the Aubrey Marcus and Podcast Episode 106 Total human Optimisation), Toews reflected on the factors that led him to pursue hockey to a degree almost unhealthy as a child and how he worked to find more balance since reaching the NHL.
He applied the lessons he learned by studying the stoicism, Buddhist thought and Taoism to things that happened during his career. He talked about his journey to become more empathetic and how it helped him be a better teammate. He even mentioned how his outside interests have resulted in him being twittered like a "tree-hugger" and "hippie" in the locker room Blackhawks.
In short, Toews opened in a way that superstar hockey players rarely do publicly. He asked him to step a little out of his comfort zone, he acknowledged this week in an interview with Sportsnet, but that was part of his motivation to do so.

Flair flop is a comedic turn in pro wrestling, where the guy takes a huge step that looks like it would knock you out, then you get up, take a few steps ... and then fall flat on your face, apparently allowing the injury sink in.
It was mainly the US team at the start of the round robin tournament. And the man-on-man did it look awkward. And if you were one of the many people who have decided that they would prefer to see the route to the other team in this championship in hockey, this game was amazing.
The Americans, of course, play as a team with confidence, but that trust was quickly dashed as Team Europe charged to an early lead as Gaborik made a perfect pass from Frans Nielsen and make the American form of defense is positively ridiculous.
Ish. Not a great view of the US team early, but they had to get that one back right?
they did not at that time. Team Europe held their own, and looked like the role of the two teams came into the tournament with a completely reversed. The team played a strong Europe, their defense is competent and alert in their own end, and when they get the opportunity, they are sure to make their expense. Team USA, while leading in shots, did all of these super low danger, and in all honesty were lucky to get out of this period.
And there is the problem really began.
I can not adequately describe it bad enough, the US defense collapsed during this period. It was fascinating to watch.
The US team completely collapsed more Patrick Kane of the game and are committed to having a great chance for Europeans 2-on-1, that could bury Leon Draisaitl put Europeans to 2-0
It was funny. Especially from a butterfly goalie weaken. But it is a night in the United States. And believe me, it's not getting better. Team USA thought they could get back to the goal, which apparently came in off the shoulder ... and he got called back. Team Europe will be to capitalize on this by creating more chances away the ugly broken pairings US team, and finally, finally the chance to bury away 3-0 turns. Pierre-Eduoard Bellemare received credit for rejection, although work is currently unemployed Erhoff Yannick Hansen made a shot to get to him. From there, the team will hold in Europe in the US stranglehold as they shut down and refused to allow the United States as an account and get any real break from the defensive position. Europe's team survived, kept things slowly and gradually, and did not come out no worse for wear.
The US team tried very hard to score. They did not.
He felt the US team spent the entire period in the European zone of the team, and ultimately get pasted in the defensive effort in Europe and sharp commands game in the Galaxy. They did not have any answer, they tried to bend over backwards to get an answer, but it really seemed that everything was now all the teams in Europe, and they let the last period to escape from them, allowing Team Europe, to get the first win of the tournament.

Traverse City, Michigan -. Here are some observations from the St. Louis Blues Chicago Blackhawks' 3-2 loss in the NHL rookie tournament at Center Ice Arena on Friday.
- Black Hawks, drove the possession of the entire game. They had a 34-19 advantage in the shot on goal. They got a bit by two defensive miscues in the late third period. Blackhawks jERSEY goalie Jake Hildenbrand should probably have stopped the blues first goal, but he was also deprived some of the goal.
- Gustav Forsling, there was two things going for him on Friday. One, he was the best player than on the ice. He did a good decision-making, to get the defensive zone outside of the pack, if you know how to create a pimple, is simply configured to there, it slips well. Secondly, he had competed in six games in Sweden in already Friday before the game last month. Almost all of the players is given, it competed in their first game after the off-season, etc. their timing, conditioning, but was looking for, was already up to speed Forsling.
- Luke Johnson as part of the other players left the initial of school to turn professional this season, but has not been received about the same as the hype, he will be able to play. He was active all over the ice the entire Friday game. He found a hole in the middle of the ice, off the shot fired, it has created some of the Black Hawks' best chance by carrying out the pack to attack the zone. He also was effective on the penalty kill on the forecheck.
"He is a good player, coach Ted Dent of" Black Hawks rookie team said. "He has a soft hand. We talked between periods, coach, he is good backhand pass, good backhand flip, has a good backhand shot. he really pack, you can snap a really good quick release and good faceoff. from what we can see here responsible for the defense. Yeah, he might be a little go under the radar, I think intends Rudaro such him a great player. "
